These images are of a model I have made for a WWII project. This is a concept design model for an installation at the National Picture Theatre in Hull. The idea behind this design is to make the rubble appear as if it is coming out of the background image. The installation will be a large scale where visitors can rummage through the rubble to find things. Together with sound effects, reduced lighting, smells of smoke and dust and smoke effects, the visitors will feel like they have gone back in time to the Hull Blitz to the aftermath of the air raids and experience what so many of Hull's residents had to go through. This installation combines 2D, 3D and 4D to create an emotional journey in a unique setting.
That looks really interesting, its a brilliant idea too :)
